Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- All authors have ORCID numbers. If you do not yet have an ORCID, Registering is free of charge and takes only a couple of minutes.
- The submission and a submission with significant overlaps has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal or book for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor). If your submission was published in a working paper series, you may submit it for Tér és Társadalom, but please indicate this fact in Comments to the Editor.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.

I know the journal’s Statement of publication ethics and prevention of publication malpractice, and my submission complies with this.
- The format of the submission is Microsoft Word (*.doc, *.docx), *.rtf or *.txt.
- Figures are uploaded as supplementary files, ideally in an editable format (such as Excel, PowerPoint, EPS).

OPEN ACCESS POLICY
Tér és Társadalom aims to increase visibility and make easier use of open access scientific papers. Readers and their institutions are supported for online access without asking for any royalty, personnel information, or login process. According to open access policy of our journal, all readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, link and search our articles with no charge.
Tér és Társadalom is an open access journal. The term open access gives the right of readers to read, download, distribute, copy, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles free of charge. Tér és Társadalom is aiming to fully comply to the terms of Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) (http://www.budapestopenaccessinitiative.org). According to BOAI (Budapest Open Access Initiative); By “open access” to peer-reviewed research literature, its free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The author(s) and copyright holder(s) grant(s) to all users a free access to articles.
No (APC) fees are charged for the publication of any articles in this journal.
Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms (excerpt):
- Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

The data collected from registered and non-registered users of this journal falls within the scope of the standard functioning of peer-reviewed journals. It includes information that makes communication possible for the editorial process; it is used to inform readers about the authorship and editing of content; it enables collecting aggregated data on readership behaviors.
This journal’s editorial team uses this data to guide its work in publishing and improving this journal. Data that will assist in developing this publishing platform may be shared with its developer Public Knowledge Project in an anonymized and aggregated form, with appropriate exceptions such as article metrics.
