Abstract

Nowadays the concept of creativity pervades the world, seeped into the economy increasingly better; thís „soft" expression could be encountered mostly in the English literature. The exact definition is missing many times, till now there hasn't been come into existence any attempts for economic measurement of the creativity. Firstly Richard Florida, in his „3T theory" formulated and began to measure it and to rank the „creative classes".

This article presents shortly the theoretical background of creativity, the bases of psychology, from which the impact of environment as an important element is examined more concretely. Florida's theory is the basic of examinations. The authors make attempts to measure the third T (tolerance) of theory using the results of numerous deep interviews made by Hungarian leaders.
